Requirements

  • significant and proven experience in video editing
  • bring a digital first mindset to editing on-platform and for social media
  • expertise in Adobe Premiere and CS
  • familiarity with the latest video editing techniques and technologies
  • the ability to make quick decisions under intense deadlines in a high-pressure newsroom setting
  • thorough knowledge of current events, with experience covering news
  • A foundational knowledge of legal, ethical, copyright and usage issues for visuals
  • conceive and create fresh original videos related to the news
