Requirements

  • an understanding of what it takes to make a website responsive, at a good page speed without sacrificing design
  • A basic understanding of SEO, to ensure that the designs can be easily optimised by other staff
  • the ability to take a website from an idea, to a fully formed static website, designed by yourself, and then built using HTML and CSS. Taking layered design concepts and converting them into well formatted HTML and CSS
  • good working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS, and using JavaScript or pre-made libraries such as jQuery to add interactive elements to enhance the user experience
