Responsibility

  • have a real hands-on approach to the way you do things
  • be focused just as much on the customers, as well as the leadership of the team
  • responsible for planning and reviewing own workload requiring a high level of self-motivation and use of initiative
  • ensure compliance with the professional standards in Pharmacy and maintain all professional registrations within the team
  • ensure all staff are trained and observant of all legal and professional requirements
  • take ownership of the pharmacy and have a positive "can do" attitude, promote and deliver services within the team and provide a great customer experience
  • dispensing prescription medicines to the public, following prescriptions issued by an authorised Medical Practitioner and liaising with patients and GP surgeries

Requirements

  • to apply for this position, you should have the following skills and experience
  • registered as a Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • able to demonstrate an ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, with excellent communication skills
  • strong Customer Service skills and a patient focused approach
