Responsibility
- provide leadership and support for residential care workers as well as the young people who reside at the home
- to maintain skills and knowledge and ensure that care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence available
- ensure the ongoing safety of residents, staff and visitors through systematic assessment, monitoring and reviewing processes
- maintaining and approving information that is submitted either on the homes computer system or paper based
- ensure that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to care delivery are maintained and effectively used
- attending to practical matters in relation to young people
- establishing positive relationships with young people and always offering them unconditional and positive regard
- meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural, cultural and educational needs of young people
