Responsibility
- we are looking for someone to join our warm and child-centred service as the registered manager
- we are open to considering both part time and full time candidates
- oversee and manage the daily operations of 2 homes in Romford and Ilford
- ensure the delivery of high-quality, person centred care to residents
- partake in the recruitment, induction, training and supervision of staff
- ensure accurate and high quality records and documentation are maintained and updated in line with Ofsted and CQC regluations
- ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
- we are looking for someone who has a genuine compassion for looked after children, who is motivated to deliver a service that truly serves and challenges each child to reach their full potential
Requirements
- recent and proven experience as a Registered Manager within a Residential Children’s home setting or Semi-independent living Service
- excellent knowledge and understanding of Ofsted regulations and best practices
- hold a valid UK Driving Licence
- ability to assess resident needs and develop appropriate care plans
- experience using Careplace or similar system
- excellent stakeholder management skills
- level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management
- managerial experience in supported living services for 16-17 year olds
