Requirements
bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
current registration and licensure with the appropriate regulatory body
minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in neurological physiotherapy, preferably with experience in community-based care
strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and treatment planning skills
excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
ability to work independently and effectively manage a caseload while traveling to clients' homes or community locations
commitment to client-centered care, cultural sensitivity, and inclusion
flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of clients and work within varying environments
Responsibility
conduct thorough assessments of clients' neurological function, mobility, and physical impairments in their homes or community settings
the successful candidate will work independently to deliver high-quality neurorehabilitation services to clients in their homes or community settings
develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, client goals, and evidence-based practice guidelines
provide hands-on physiotherapy interventions, exercises, and activities to improve clients' movement, function, and independence
educate and support clients and their families regarding their condition, treatment options, and self-management strategies
collaborate with other healthcare professionals, caregivers, and community resources to ensure holistic and coordinated care for clients
monitor clients' progress closely and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and promote long-term functional gains
maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and communication with other healthcare providers
