- installation of structured cabling systems experience
- working knowledge of CCTV and door access
- IPAF and PASMA Card holder
- basic testing knowledge and experience with Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a/Fibre Optic test equipment
- have flexibility around working hours and overtime
- ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure, paying good attention to detail at all times
- network cabling: 1 year
- self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and self-manage workload without supervision
Contract type
- work from building plans, reading implementing job papers, RAMS and specifications
- installations of network and structured cabling
- installation of networking equipment such as wireless access points
- termination of network cabling on patch panels and socket modules
- fibre optic cabling fusion splicing on to patch panels, splice boxes and fibre optic socket modules
- certification testing with Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a/Fibre Optic test equipment
- maintaining Quality standards whilst meeting agreed timescales
- reporting on progress and issues affecting the work to line managers and client contacts
