- utilise procurement websites, portals, the tender inbox and notification services to identify new opportunities to tender for
- have an extensive knowledge of our product and service offerings
- crafting high quality submissions with a laser focus on achieving a high win rate. This includes preparing, researching, producing and submitting all Bids & Tender documentation promptly through procurement portal delivery channels
- ensure that sales support content is up-to-date, tidy and ready for the sales team to utilise
- ability to make an informed decision on the tenders that the company are or are not involved in and justify this to key stakeholders
- develop and maintain a comprehensive information database, including case studies, customer references, and essential information
- liaising with and supporting the relevant sales, product and marketing team members to ensure all required information is in place prior to deadlines
Requirements
- project management – managing timelines, coordinating with different stakeholders
- previous bids & tender experience
- creativity – develop innovative solutions and presenting them in a compelling way
- decisiveness – ability to make a research-based judgement call on whether opportunities are right for the business
- collaborating – working well as part of a wider team
- excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- excellent verbal and written communication skills – being able to craft clear, concise and persuasive content
- meticulous attention to detail - excellent editing and proofing quality and be able to follow tender guidelines
