Responsibility

  • nequinox Studios are looking for a UX Designer to join the team on an exciting new project
  • create UX design for a powerful in-game map editor based in Unreal Engine 5
  • create and update all relevant documentation for the UX features, including user stories, game/UX logic, menu flows, in-game layouts and mock-ups
  • be an advocate of UX changes and improvements to maximize the player’s comfort, engagement, and retention
  • our new UX Designer will join a fast-growing, dynamic games studio to work on cutting-edge technology and exciting new games. The successful applicant will share our passion and drive for creating outstanding user experiences
  • champion accessibility wherever possible within the framework of the project
  • lead an iterative prototyping process to validate design intentions and test user interactions, always be ready to improve the flows based on various feedback
  • negotiate and communicate with a diverse group of stakeholders driven by various priorities and interests

Requirements

  • strong working knowledge of Unreal Engine 5
  • at least one published title using Unreal Engine 5
  • strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • analytical skills and ability to combine various data sources to make well informed design decisions
  • keen attention to detail and ability to identify and fix potential UX issues during the design stage
  • passion for video games and strong knowledge in the area, ability to identify and implement the best practices in the industry
  • evidence of experience in this role or similar
