Responsibility
- participate in regular monthly safety meetings with the Senior Team
- cascade regular monthly safety meetings to site teams
- to lead and direct the allocated package works ensuring co-ordination of all disciplines within
- the contract works
- effectively support the project team
- ensure that allocated contract works are effectively planned, and progress reviewed on a weekly basis
- timely submission of reports to an agreed format
- accountable for ensuring the Safety, Quality, Environmental and Construction Phase Plans, Work Package Plans and Task Briefs are accurately produced, approved, and implemented effectively for allocated contracts
Requirements
- ability to support Tenders for Quality, Technical and Financial submission
- good understanding of the construction / railway industry, i.e Environmental Agency requirements
- understanding of Water Project Schemes
- knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and CDM Regulations
- knowledge of accident investigation techniques
- highly effective motivator with strong written and spoken communication skills and capable of interfacing at all levels in the organisation
- proven track record in Project Management and is likely to have more than five years’ experience at a Project management level
- exhibit behaviours that will support and develop collaborative working
