Responsibility
- ensure our websites are resilient, secure, responsive and scale as required
- design, document and maintain the networking, environments and isolation of our infrastructure
- respond to production issues and problems encountered by engineers
- communicate complex DevOps-related concepts to a range of audiences
- ensure all our tech teams follow good DevOps practices
- mentor and train a junior DevOps engineer and other software engineers as required
- develop strategies to spec resources to optimise infrastructure costs
- our technology helps drive operational efficiency, promote employee engagement and foster wellbeing by providing data and insights that help businesses achieve their CSR and ESG objectives
Requirements
- considerable experience with Microsoft Azure
- deploying and scaling websites with the .NET stack using App Services and Front Door
- CI/CD pipeline skills, ideally using Azure DevOps
- experience building and deploying infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools, ideally Terraform
- knowledge of security best practices
- good knowledge of Powershell and Azure CLI scripting
- experience instigating and communicating good DevOps culture throughout an organisation
- demonstrable experience supervising engineers and delivering projects
