Responsibility
- assist with preparing, supply and fitting and conveyor belts . Preparing belts to various specification
- supporting the engineers with customer conveyor surveys, changing rollers, adjusting scrapers and removing/fitting skirts
- repairs of conveyor belts – repairs, splits, damages, holes and breakdowns
- supporting our teams to carry out work on site according to health and safety regulations
- ensuring that the workshop, working area offsite and vehicles are safe, clean and tidy
- work towards ability to work independently as a Vulcanising Engineer
- completing belt stock survey
- deliver/collect parts or belt
Requirements
- working at heights, noisy and confined spaces
- maintain strong relationships with valued customers
- working with industrial machinery
- forklift driving
- knife Handling
- good level of numerical ability
- hot/Cold press vulcanising
