  • ensure technical aspects and electrical infrastructure associated with wind farms, solar PV plants and battery energy storage system projects are designed, installed and commissioned in accordance with employer’s requirements and contractor’s specifications

Responsibility

  • engage in root cause analysis to pinpoint the underlying cause of equipment failures and effectively implement corrective actions
  • collaborate with fellow team members to elevate turbine efficiency and reliability
  • be prepared to provide out-of-hours and weekend response to turbine breakdowns as per the on-call schedule
  • adhere meticulously to all health and safety requirements, including the WTSR
  • undertake scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing activities on multi-brand wind turbines to ensure optimal performance, minimise downtime, and complete documentation as required
  • maintain accurate records of timesheets, expenses, and maintenance activities, encompassing work performed, parts utilized, and equipment condition
  • execute corrective maintenance, fault finding, troubleshooting, and repair on all turbine systems, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic assemblies, and complete the corresponding documentation diligently
  • maintain regular and effective communication with ControlCentre personnel
