Responsibility
- we are looking for an Centre Activity Supervisor for our Day Services team
- We need someone who is skilled in supporting groups of people with learning and other disabilities or those with learning difficulties
- previous experience, professionalism and commitment to providing the highest standard of service and support are crucial
- we also value flexibility, creativity and the ability to have fun and get involved
- this is a new role and is great opportunity for someone with enthusiasm to help us to shape and grow our day services provision
- A UK driving licence is desirable
- you will have the ability to support our attendees to undertake activities both indoors and outdoors including horticulture, living & independence skills, digital skills, crafts, art, cooking, health & wellbeing, social interaction and other similar activities
- you will be creative and experienced in developing and delivering activities within an indoor and ideally an outdoor environment and have knowledge, passion and experience in a range of beneficial activities
Requirements
- a. Under instruction from the Day Services Manager, identify individuals who wish to engage with ASDAN qualifications
- b. Support the attendees to complete tasks, activities and records to support their learning
- supporting groups of individuals with learning disabilities: 1 year
- developing a programme of centre based activitiess: 1 year
