Responsibility
- develop sales pipeline of new opportunities and close deals by creating strategies to reach new Business opportunities
- identify and sell but not be limited to our organisation's membership and partnerships and other revenue streams
- work with the team to review current offerings and make suggestions to improve products and develop new products
- provide opportunities for various sponsorship to generate income
- sourcing grants and funding through existing relationships
- business Development - Identifying new business opportunities including new clients, new partnerships or new products & services and to develop plans for business & increase revenue growth to meet our KPI targets and strategic growth
- lead conversations with clients and prospects to identify opportunities, upsell and generate new business
- forecast, measure, and report the results of, managing expectations and agreed KPI metrics
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience of business development
- 3-5 years' experience in marketing or sales and meeting sales targets and KPis
- business Development with a background in B2B sales and meeting sales targets
- proven track record of meeting KPIs and targets
- 3-5 years account or project management experience
- desirable to have Fundraising with an emphasis on grants and sponsorships
