Requirements

  • experience supporting senior leader to deliver projects
  • excellent communications skills with the ability to motivate and encourage people
  • ability to manage busy workloads, identify priorities, project manage and meet targets/deadlines
  • administration experience, managing diaries, minute taking, excellent IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Packages
  • experience and knowledge of main back-office functions e.g. HR procedures and financial record keeping
  • understands the need for discretion and confidentiality, can handle sensitive information appropriately, can support the CEO in such matters
  • can work flexibly and attend N-Gage events, networking events and meeting in place of CEO as, when necessary

Responsibility

  • to manage other organisational projects and monitor delivery against agreed objectives and targets
  • to work with the CEO to develop and implement a marketing strategy to raise the profile of N-Gage
  • to identify opportunities and to develop and deliver projects that improve internal process and systems and establish monitoring systems that measure the improvements in performance
  • to update policies and procedures annually and in line with changes in legislation relating to staff, trustees, volunteers, charity, health & Safety, and Insurance, including oversight of Health & Safety in the office
  • to complete HR administrational tasks including creating job descriptions, job adverts, advertising vacancies and overseeing the recruitment process, maintaining staff training records, and with the CEO identify any further of areas of training or support required
  • to manage Finance administration and control including keeping complete records of financial transactions and other day to day financial admin, and work with the treasurer and CEO to set and monitor budgets that help oversee the financial health of the charity and its range of projects
