warehouse operative

Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • picking and packing orders
  • loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with a forklift truck
  • putting stock away in the correct location
  • ensuring new items are brought up to the office for verification
  • maintain cleanliness of workspace and warehouse to a high standard
  • support physical stock counts as and when required
  • to pro-actively work as part of a team to assist the everyday running of the warehouse in the picking, packing and despatch of customer orders
  • follow and adhere to safe working practices and Health and Safety at all times

Requirements

  • PC competence
  • attention to detail & accuracy
  • good organisational skills
  • able to work under pressure
  • be able to complete physical duties including manual handling
  • warehouse experience: 1 year
