Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- unpacking and checking shipments of solar equipment delivered to the site
- installing fixings into the building’s roof, with care and accuracy
- setting out and stringing the panel layout
- carrying panels across roofs to be fitted into place
- panel laying and connecting
- assisting the Installation Team Leader with tasks on site
- running and connecting DC cable
- ensuring the site is left in a respectable manner and free from rubbish at the end of the working day
Requirements
- must hold a full UK Driving License
- should be physically fit and be willing to work long hours at pace
- have a strong attention to detail and work to the highest standard of quality, double checking their work as they go
- confident using power tools and hand tools
- should be comfortable working at height and in wet/cold/hot weather on a roof
- possess strong problem-solving skills
- willing to work away from home for non-local clients
- A good sense of humour - working as part of a tight-knit team is essential
