Responsibility
- my World Therapy is an Independent Occupational Therapy Practice seeking a Band 6 or 7 Paediatric Occupational Therapist
- this role includes clinic, school, and community work
- to provide a highly specialist occupational therapy service to children at the therapy practice / school / home settings
- to be responsible for the assessment, treatment, implementation, and documentation of Occupational Therapy interventions with a nominated workload
- this is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding highly skilled and experienced team
- to work collaboratively with families, and school staff in order to ensure Occupational Therapy recommendations are embedded across a child’s day
- to write concise outcome-focussed reports to reflect highly specialist knowledge
- to maintain and further develop own clinical skills in line with current evidence-based practice
Requirements
- you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-agency team is essential
- we are looking for a confident and skilled professional who is committed to developing expertise and specialism within the field
- to be considered for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate a passion and enthusiasm for supporting children with additional needs, especially Autism, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder & Developmental Delay
