Responsibility
- risk assessments of all new and existing applications of prospective customers
- advising and making decisions on AML/PEP/Sanctions/Adverse News hits flagged by relevant screening to the MLRO
- conduct periodic customer reviews and audits to ensure AML risk is properly assessed and is underwritten within the approved level
- review and escalate suspicious activities to the MLRO, whenever necessary
- co-operate with Sales, TM, Support Teams to support the customer onboarding process in an efficient manner
- make sure website and external customer information correspond to external, and internal policies and procedures
- make a decision for onboarding low risk customers
- work closely with Onboarding Team to understand and provide feedback whilst performing KYB/KYC due diligence, customer onboarding, AML risk assessment to ensure proper controls are in place
Requirements
- CDD and KYC
- familiarity with financial regulatory laws, rules, regulations and industry best practices in the EEA and UK
- experience with screening tools and analysing the alerts, conducting the evaluation reports
- experience in dealing with the Financial Conduct Authority, NCA will be highly regarded
- SARs knowledge
- experience in policies and procedures making & revising
- onboarding experience, with corporate knowledge
- bachelor's degree, a minimum of 6 years of experience in KYC/CDD, compliance, legal or other control-related function in a financial institution, legal/consulting firm or a combination of the above
