Responsibility
- wordPress Development: Build and maintain WordPress websites, including themes and plugins, ensuring best practices and coding standards are followed
- timber & Twig: Utilise Timber and Twig for templating and developing custom WordPress themes, ensuring efficient and maintainable code
- front-End Development: Implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- customisation & Maintenance: Perform theme and plugin customisation to meet client requirements and provide ongoing site maintenance and updates
- collaboration: Work closely with designers, senior developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions on time
- testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure a smooth user experience across various browsers and devices
- documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation for code, processes, and project-related tasks
Requirements
- experience: 5+ years of experience in WordPress development, including theme and plugin customisation
- education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related field
- wordPress: Strong understanding of WordPress core, themes, and plugin development
- APIs: Understanding of RESTful APIs and their use in WordPress development
- design Tools: Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch
- timber & Twig: Experience using Timber and Twig for building custom WordPress themes
- front-End Technologies: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles
- problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
