accounts administrator

Requirements

  • experience within a finance role
  • ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • experience of an Auto-entry system although this is not essential
  • an effective communicator used to liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • experience of data input
  • organised and structured approach to every task
  • analytical with good attention to detail
  • comfortable processing large amounts of data accurately

Responsibility

  • collate employee timesheets and perform weekly/monthly payroll including pension enrolment & e-submissions along with assisting with payroll year end
  • enter and reconcile supplier invoices using sage accounts program, checking to purchase orders and delivery notes
  • assist with bank/cash reconciliations and month end management accounts including prepayments and accruals journals
  • maintain effective filing systems both manually and electronically
  • demonstrate awareness and comply with policies and relevant legislation in relation to confidentiality, documentation retention and archiving
  • liaising with HR department regarding new starters, leavers and other specified matters
  • demonstrate excellent communication skills liaising with colleagues, external organisations
  • answering incoming calls and directing them appropriately within the organisation
