Responsibility
- to ensure an efficient vehicle defect reporting system is in place and managed
- to plan vehicle and plant maintenance and Ensure all vehicles and plant are operated in a roadworthy condition
- ensure and oversee correct vehicle maintenance procedures
- ensure vehicles are booked in and presented for MOT’s on the correct dates
- monitor external maintenance contractors
- monitor OCRS scores and encounter reports
- maintain and audit maintenance records ensuring they are kept for 15 months
- ensure, advise and instruct the operator to maintain compliance around operating legislation
Requirements
- you will need to hold a National Transport Manager CPC Qualification
- you will be an excellent communicator with both verbal and written skills
- flexible in your approach
- ability to prioritise and work under pressure as this is a demanding role
