Responsibility
- we have an opportunity for an experienced mechanic to join our workshop
- this is a full time position
- we are a sustainable transport business running contracts for Voi, Beryl, Carnival and the council as well as being a retail location stocking premium brands such as Urban Arrow, Tern, Frogbikes and Woom
- it’s a busy environment and you’ll be working on maintaining a fleet of over 300 bikes and 1300 scooters, from general servicing, new bike PDI’s to custom builds
- strong problem solving skills are essential and the ability to use your initiative whilst working independently plus a can do attitude and a most importantly a friendly and flexible attitude
- you must be a quilafied bike mechanic and be interested in sustainable transport. Previous experience in a professional workshop together with any relevant qualification and first-hand experience of electric bikes is essential
Requirements
- qualification to Cytech level 2 or equivalent is required
- the applicant must be self motivated, organised and pride themselves on producing work to a high standard
- A can-do attitude and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy workshop
- you must have a polite manner and an understanding of the importance of good customer service
- we work with a large number of E-bikes. Experience of working with e bike systems will be an advantage
- knowledge of cargo bikes set up and servicing
- cycle Mechanic: 1 year
- good product knowledge and keeping up to date with new industry standards are a must
