- experience in supporting a Capital Markets business through continued growth and change

Responsibility
- you will have oversight over your team and be accountable for ensuring that all staff under your remit are fully trained and understand what is required of them in order to do their jobs effectively, including ensuring that objectives/personal development and performance reviews are provided for all staff at least once a year in accordance with Human Resources requirements, continually monitoring their competency in order to meet the requirements of the relevant regulator’s training and competency regime, handling appropriately any grievance or disciplinary issues; and
- implement processes and standards ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations and guidelines
- working closely with senior Capital Markets management, delivering a business plan which reflects the expected return metrics, allocate resources reflecting strategic goals and enable performance management assessment in a transparent and consistent manner
- drive Global Capital Markets initiatives, EMEA regional strategies and their execution in Capital Markets, coordinating and negotiating with other divisions, regions and entities in MUFG
- be responsible for ensuring that the Global Governance Standards are supported by appropriate and effective compliance policies and procedures
