accurately maintain and update all IT hardware and Software assets via the asset management solution ensuring attention to detail is achieved
professionally and in a prompt and efficient manner record all calls, e-mails, and requests in person within the Service Desk solution ensuring these are processed and resolved on a daily basis
carry out research of current and future Technologies that may be of benefit to the team and wider business
investigating all 1st and 2nd line requests and incidents through to resolution, monitoring all tickets, and escalating tickets of 3rd line nature to the IT Systems Administrator firstly and more senior team members when essential
other ad hoc requests as directed by Senior Members of the IT team
ensuring that all work and documentation is completed within the required timescales to high standards focusing on quality and attention to detail
utilising the IT Operational Management solution ensuring alerts and alarms are investigated and linked to Service Incidents or Problems in the Service Desk solution
to liaise with external support partners/vendors in order to ensure resolution of Service Incidents/faults and general Service requests, as well as wider problems working closely with the IT Systems Administrator and wider team
