MR. PLANT HIRE PLC is looking for employees for positions:
- mr Plant Hire have a vacancy for a Workshop Engineer at our Edmonton Depot at Stacey Avenue
- you will need LOLER Certification or equivalent and a driving licence as you will be required to undertake occasional travel
- working hours are 45 per week Monday to Friday between 6.30am and 4.30pm
- this includes inspecting, examining, testing, and calibrating the related attachments and ancillary systems associated with that equipment
- candidates must possess excellent technical knowledge in this field to ensure the continued safe operation of the machinery and its components
- primarily working at the depot there will be occasional travel to sites to attend breakdowns and you will use a company vehicle for this travel
- you'll need to demonstrate a strong commitment to Health & Safety
- if you join the team we’ll provide you with everything you need and ensure you are equipped for success
- A company van will be provided and the Engineer will be required to carry out mobile duties on an as and when basis
- the role involves assisting with Credit Control queries, chasing outstanding client debt and payment terms and ensuring credit limits are adhered too
- the hours of the role are Monday to Friday 7.30am
- 5pm, 45 hours a week
- previous experience in the industry is not essential as full training and support will be given
- keeping and maintaining a professional approach
- ensuring you are noting leads and setting them to our sales team via our database
- liaising with others to route deliveries/collections
- your time keeping and punctuation
- making sure the customer is satisfied with the level of service
- pre Delivery Inspections of equipment
- routine service / maintenance of plant vehicles and machinery
- diagnostics and repairs of electrical and mechanical faults
- on site call out to fix and rectify any breakdown
- A professionally recognized qualification in Heavy vehicle / Plant Maintenance and repair
- experience in a similar role within the last 2 years
- A full UK Driving license
- plant Fitting: 2 years
