Requirements
previous experience in supporting individuals affected by Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse, and/or Sexual Violence is essential
knowledge of the challenges faced by women and children with multiple disadvantages is essential
excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with service users
A good understanding of domestic violence/ abuse including the impact of domestic violence/ abuse on victims and their children
ability to manage referrals, conduct assessments, and develop tailored support plans
experience supporting vulnerable people or families, whether in a domestic violence service or other housing related support services
proficiency in advocating for service users and encouraging self-advocacy
the ability to work in a fast-paced and reactive environment
