Responsibility
- safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- load and unload cargo using manual or motorized equipment
- plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- communicate with dispatchers and customers to ensure accurate delivery times and locations
- complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs, mileage records, and vehicle inspection reports
- adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
Requirements
- valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- delivery driver experience
- ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
- driving
- prior experience in route driving and/or delivery preferred
- familiarity with warehouse operations and pallet jack usage is a plus
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
