Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- the role would require experience focused mainly on the composite, GRP areas of manufacture, however, not exclusively
- the successful candidate will be responsible for supervision of our factory floor. Responsibilities include –
- motivating teams to meet deadlines for delivery of products
- ensuring workorder documentation is being completed correctly
- ensuring all health and safety requirements within the factory are understood and adhered to
- providing quality feedback on production to the management team
- our business is primarily a CNC Composites company creating patterns and moulds for a variety of industry sectors; marine, aerospace, MoD, renewables, and more
- distributing resources to ensure deadlines are met
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- previous supervisory experience is essential
- strong communication skills
- ability to read technical drawings
- ability to prioritise own workload
- equally comfortable with working as part of a team and alone
- can demonstrate use of initiative in daily working scenarios
- production Supervisor: 2 years
- knowledge of the composites industry, particularly laminating, finishing, set up work a would be an advantage
