Responsibility
- coordinate with Analysts to ensure all warehouse team get picklists, dispatch labels and delivery notes on time
- mobilize warehouse operatives and forklift drivers as per day-to-day needs
- supervise and receive inbound shipments in coordination with other staff
- take control of the Goods receipt note and denote if any damages sighted upon receipt
- supervise dispatches / outbound shipments by mobilising warehouse operatives, team leaders, forklift drivers
- plan and arrange warehouse manpower in advance in communication with management team members of the company
- handover documents used in handling outbound shipments to the Analysts or concerned team member
- keep record of all inbound and outbound traffic and manage traffic as per the agreed and prespecified turnaround time
Requirements
- experience in warehousing, logistics, stock control and supply chain environment
- experience of managing and supervising team in a warehousing environment
- experience of using bar code scanners and using a Warehouse Management system
- skill and experience of forklift driving would be an added advantage
