Responsibility
- this includes responsibility for keeping the volunteer area of the website current with copy writing, editing and uploading new content
- this role reports into the Internal Communications Manager and will support the internal communications function
- we are looking for a creative and collaborative Communications Officer - Volunteering, to join our Communications and Marketing Team at the Motor Neurone Disease Association
- as the Communications Officer - Volunteering, you will create and deliver excellent communications for volunteers and staff that keep them informed, make them feel valued and enhance their experience, making them feel connected to the wider MND Association community
- you will use and regularly review the range of channels we have available to communicate with our volunteering community, taking account of insights and metrics to measure effectiveness and drive improvement
- through high-quality information, resources and support, you will also enable volunteers to plan, create and deliver excellent communications leading to effective support for people with MND while supporting them to share their MND Association stories and experiences
- excellent writing and proof-reading skills with the ability to understand and translate complex messaging
- experience of using communications channels to engage and inspire audiences, with a demonstrable creative approach to developing, implementing, and evaluating communications
