- maintain the purchase ledger, including reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
- bank reconciliation
- goods receiving purchase orders and chasing missing proof of deliveries
- set up new suppliers and trade accounts
- collaborate with other departments to resolve any invoice or payment-related issues
- set up & maintain supplier records and ensure all necessary documentation is obtained and filed appropriately
- review credit limits & negotiate credit limit increases
Requirements
- experience using Sage 50 accounting software
- high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
- good written & verbal English
- outgoing and able to work well within a team
- purchase ledger/accounts admin work: 1 year
- administrative: 1 year
- leeds, LS15 8ZB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
