Responsibility

  • duties include supporting and promoting daily living skills, prompting personal care and medication support, domestic and household duties
  • must be confident to lone work
  • be able to record and handover relevant information and complete service user logs
  • good communication skills essential
  • experience preferred but not essential as training can be provided
  • 24.5 hour contract working on rolling 4 days on 4 days off pattern
  • support worker required for a 15-bed, 24 hour supported living unit - providing support and assistance to adults with mental illness / mild learning disabilities
  • shift is 3pm-10pm
