Responsibility

  • day to day management of the two finance team member's duties
  • review and approve bills issued, weekly payment run and monthly payroll
  • provide monthly reporting on business performance
  • implement, monitor and improve financial controls and policies
  • ensure transactions are processed in accordance with SRA Accounts Rules
  • ensure correct VAT treatment of bills issued and accurate calculation of VAT returns
  • maintain the cashflow forecasts and monitor day to day cashflows
  • monitor firm time recording, aged WIP and aged receivables; taking action to ensure firm lock up is minimised
