- moorcare Devon is looking for a Carer to work at our supported living Bungalow
- provide direct patient care to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- evening and weekends available and 12 Hour shifts 8.30am till 8.30pm
- follow care plans and implement appropriate interventions and strategies
- assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- monitor and document patient progress and behavior
- collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- previous experience in patient care, preferably with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- knowledge of medical terminology and basic first aid procedures
- ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving
- valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- supporting the Registered Care manager and Care Manager with CQC compliance management ·
- working with the Care Rota Co-Ordinator to meet capacity requirements
- supporting the Care Manager to run the workplace, including covering in their absence and ensuring standards of care are maintained
- ensure the service safely plans staffing levels and complies with legislation and regulatory requirements
- undertake care assessments of people needing care and support, as well as working closely with healthcare professionals and others
- helping the service to recruit and develop new care workers, supporting, supervising and performance managing them
