  • moon is a construction, furniture & joinery company that combines a strong design culture with a team of highly skilled craftsmen
  • we have now expanded this service to other business clients throughout the South West
  • manufacture of bespoke joinery items
  • we cover a range of services from one-off bespoke pieces to full packages of furniture and fittings for interior fit outs
  • manufacture of standard modular joinery products
  • all aspects of wood machining
  • on site installation of Joinery products along with occassional site based second fix work
  • moon are looking for a Bench Joiner/ Wood Machinist to join the existing team of highly skilled craftsmen at the Moon workshop in Avonmouth

Requirements

  • the ability to work as part of a team, ensuring project connectivity
  • at least 3 years' experience working in a joinery/wood machining related workshop
  • at least 2 years' joinery installation experience
  • excellent knowledge of furniture construction methods
  • excellent knowledge of all aspects of wood machining
  • must be well organised and disciplined within the workshop environment
  • must be self motivated with good initiative and be able to work under pressure
  • bench Joinery: 3 years
