Responsibility

  • ensuring stock levels are maintained at all times
  • carrying out regular stock takes and inventory counts, including preparation, completion and investigating any variances
  • maintaining paperwork and records in the inventory management system
  • identifying, investigating and communicating any stock issues immediately to the relevant teams
  • auditing and recording stock movements and changes
  • working with the ‘Goods In’ Supervisor to forecast Stock Control workload and plan resources needed
  • ensuring accurate receipt and recording of goods
  • reconciling shipments and reporting any errors to the relevant teams and recording on the relevant systems
