Requirements
- self-motivated and resourceful, with initiative and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- proficient in molecular biology techniques, with hands on experience of NGS methods preferably including single-cell RNAseq library preparation
- experienced in mammalian tissue culture with experience in the culture of multiple cell lines
- ability to respond flexibly to shifts in priorities
- basic understanding of NGS data analysis advantageous
- proficient in molecular biology techniques such as molecular cloning, PCR and Western blotting
- polite, pleasant, and friendly approach to interacting with others
- experienced in tissue culture with an excellent aseptic technique
Responsibility
- ensure that all tasks undertaken are compliant with our Health and Safety policies
- conduct scientific research for the development of in vivo cell conversion therapies using our proprietary direct cellular reprogramming technology, with a focus on characterizing converted cells
- carry out any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed
