- diagnose and repair faults in Heavy Goods Vehicles efficiently and effectively
- conduct routine maintenance and servicing to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition
- perform safety inspections and comply with all health and safety regulations
- use the latest diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and rectify technical issues
- ensure all repair and maintenance work is carried out to the highest standards
- keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- collaborate with the team to meet and exceed performance targets
- stay updated on industry trends and advancements through continuous learning and training
Requirements
- proven experience as an HGV Technician with a strong understanding of heavy vehicle mechanics
- city and Guilds Level 1, 2 and 3 / NVQ Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
- proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends
- HGV Class 2 drivers license
