Responsibility
- complete take off's and produce BoQs
- oversee and complete the preparation and agreement of priced schedules of work, utilising existing schedules of rates and supply chain quotations
- drafting of supply chain contracts and propose improvements where necessary
- assisting the project team in appointing subcontractors and issuing basic subcontract orders
- oversee and run reports for measurements and variances. Attend site meetings and work closely with project team
- working with the project team to ensure all variations are captured and approved
- run multiple projects at the one time
- prepare and submit variations, final accounts and contract documentation
Requirements
- degree in Quantity Surveying
- over 5 years’ experience working within a similar role
- experience working within the fitout and construction sector
- strong PC literacy, with experience in extracting, collating and presenting performance data
- ability to work autonomously
- multi-tasker who remains calm and effective under pressure
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- surveying: 5 years
