Responsibility

  • use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver packages to warehouse on time
  • interact with stakeholders in a professional manner
  • work occasional evenings and weekends
  • complete daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and notify manager of any issues
  • drive in inclement weather, such as light snow
  • maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries
  • there is no loading /unloading or cargo securing requirements for them
  • we have access to the latest truck technology both on safety and sustainability

Requirements

  • have a Professional Driving Qualification called the Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence
  • hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card
  • pass a background check to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law
  • pass a standard drug and alcohol test to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law
  • have a maximum of 6 penalty points in the Driver’s License
  • approved drivers consist of drivers with BGC results as “Meets Requirements” and drug and alcohol tests with negative results
  • HGV CLASS 1: 2 years
  • HGV CLASS 1: 1 year
