Responsibility
- programme Management
- providing effective and transparent management and control of the Programme schedule, dependencies, assumptions, risks and issues
- planning and designing the Programme and proactively monitoring its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate
- effective coordination of the Projects and their inter-dependencies Managing the identification and mitigation of risks and issues
- managing the Programme’s budget, monitoring the expenditure and costs against benefits as the Programme progresses
- maximising the efficient allocation of resources and skills with the Projects Dossier
- leading, motivating, mentoring and managing the performance of the Programme delivery team
- managing the performance of internal and external suppliers to the Programme
Requirements
- experience in Programme management and in Project management within the public sector or Financial Services
- experience of working in an outsource environment - as client and/or supplier. Experience in delivering Change managing multiple 3rd parties
- experience of managing and delivering Portfolios containing multiple concurrent initiatives, including a wide raging diversity of Projects
- A recognised PPM practitioner level qualification e.g. Managing Successful Programmes practitioner, PRINCE2 practitioner, Association of Project Management practitioner or equivalent experience
