- to safeguard young people from danger and promote their welfare

- understand your role and responsibilities in relation to protecting young people, safeguarding them by putting them first and prioritising their wellbeing and development
- support young people to develop their independent living skills to enable them to have maximum control over all aspects of their daily life
- to provide high standards of support services and accommodation, reflective of the voice and desires of our young people and other stakeholders
Requirements
- ensure that young people feel safe and that their needs are met
- ensure young people experience a comfortable and secure living environment
- lead by example in maintaining the property
- create detailed logs and recordings of all work undertaken while on shift
- read and comply with the company’s safeguarding policies and procedures
- ensure the premises are clean, and report maintenance issues as per company policies
- ensure young people’s data is protected according to the company’s Data Protection policies
- read and be fluent in the young person’s risk assessment and other associated procedures
