Responsibility
- cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for landscaping projects, considering materials, labor, and expenses
- procurement: Collaborate with the procurement team to source suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing and quality
- project Budgeting: Assist in preparing and managing project budgets, monitoring expenditure, and providing financial reports
- contract Management: Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring compliance
- quantity Takeoff: Conduct accurate quantity takeoffs from project drawings to determine material and labor requirements
- cost Control: Monitor project costs, identify potential overruns, and implement strategies to reduce costs without compromising quality
- reporting: Prepare financial reports, cost forecasts, and progress reports to communicate effectively with management and teams
- compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
Requirements
- experience: Minimum [X] years of quantity surveying experience in the construction or landscaping industry
- qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field preferred. Relevant certifications are advantageous
- analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, perform cost calculations, and produce accurate estimates and reports
- communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interacting confidently with stakeholders
- attention to Detail: Meticulous approach, ensuring precision in cost estimations and financial analysis
