Responsibility

  • cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for landscaping projects, considering materials, labor, and expenses
  • procurement: Collaborate with the procurement team to source suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing and quality
  • project Budgeting: Assist in preparing and managing project budgets, monitoring expenditure, and providing financial reports
  • contract Management: Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring compliance
  • quantity Takeoff: Conduct accurate quantity takeoffs from project drawings to determine material and labor requirements
  • cost Control: Monitor project costs, identify potential overruns, and implement strategies to reduce costs without compromising quality
  • reporting: Prepare financial reports, cost forecasts, and progress reports to communicate effectively with management and teams
  • compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

Requirements

  • experience: Minimum [X] years of quantity surveying experience in the construction or landscaping industry
  • qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field preferred. Relevant certifications are advantageous
  • analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, perform cost calculations, and produce accurate estimates and reports
  • communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interacting confidently with stakeholders
  • attention to Detail: Meticulous approach, ensuring precision in cost estimations and financial analysis
