Responsibility
- broadly, to manage all areas of production, including requirements and production staff
- liaise daily with multiple members of staff in head office to define the needs of the business across the production department
- daily huddle with production team to ensure everyone knows daily targets and what is expected
- attend team wide weekly meetings to establish priorities and update the business on key production information
- analyse stock levels against contract requirements and prioritise production based on availability and production staff capabilities
- manage the production team daily and long term by running appraisals, interviews, organising any training etc
- ensuring the entire production team follow Health & Safety guidelines and any relevant training
- successfully plan and manage the execution of the production schedule, carefully assessing each projects requirements and resources involved and renegotiating these schedules when necessary or when the project requirements change
