Responsibility

  • contribute to the development and implementation of the annual Monitoring Plan
  • assume accountability for the execution of certain Compliance Monitoring Framework and Compliance Monitoring Plan components
  • serve as a point of communication for other important parties, including Heads of Operation, Operational Compliance Representatives , internal and external auditors, and others, to identify priorities and issues
  • identify and suggest ways to improve the overall Compliance Monitoring Framework, such as the creation of effective and creative MI reports that will allow for the early detection of compliance concerns and the prompt implementation of corrective action

Requirements

  • commercial awareness and focus on the application of regulation within the insurance broking industry
  • good knowledge and understanding of the FCA handbook- principles, rules and guidelines etc
  • experience of operating in a compliance, monitoring or audit department of a financial services firm in the in the UK regulatory environment
