Responsibility

  • children's Residential Support Worker- Flexible/ Temporary to Permanent
  • you will be surrounded by likeminded support workers as well as supportive, experienced management
  • halcyon Health and Social Care are proud to be partnering with a group of reputable Children’s Residential Homes who are looking for dedicated and passionate Support Workers across a group of their large, registered homes located in scenic areas in the Swindon area
  • this nature of this work is challenging but rewarding in nature, you must be resilient and nurturing in order to, not only meet the children’s needs, but positively engage them
  • A skilled support worker can make a tangible difference to the lives of the children who live at the services, this should always be your goal while supporting them
  • if you have experience supporting within children’s/ young person’s services such as Children’s residential or transitional support services particularly supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities or EBD then Halcyon would love to speak with you around opportunity at the homes
  • we are particularly interested in speaking to you if hold Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma/Children and Young People's Workforce/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent
  • opportunity to work flexibly with the homes at a competitive hourly rate of £11.50 an hour as well as the potential to find a new professional home with a temporary to permanent placement
