production planner
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- you will also have the ability to drive cost saving initiatives where possible
- please note the business has 2 sites and may require travel to other supply locations
- cost-effective stock management of a portfolio of goods and materials
- as Production Planner, you will help ensure the smooth running of the client production requirements with your focus on procurement and purchasing of materials and components from the global supplier base
- owning external and internal warehouse relationship
- you will be part of a supply chain team and support the Supply Chain Manager with ensuring production demands can be met
- these positions will involve elements of procurement, buying, supplier management, warehouse management and negotiation, but also supply chain logistics and supply project management
- working with other departments to improve business relations/needs
Requirements
- production Scheduling: 2 years
- personality and willing is key for this role, if you offer a diligent personality, can be enthusiastic and a team player, possess good IT skills to help navigate MRP systems and Spreadsheets and can be good communicator this could be the role for you
- production Management: 1 year
- ideally you will have a full driving licence license as visits to our 2nd site within the local area and trips to other locations will be a requirement of this role
