- assist dentists and dental hygienists during dental procedures, ensuring the provision of efficient and high-quality care
- pass instruments and materials to the dentist/hygienist and operate suction devices or water sprays as required
- A strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate and professional demeanor are essential for success in this role
- prepare and administer topical anesthetics or other treatments as directed by the dentist
Requirements
- successful completion of a recognized dental nursing program or equivalent training
- valid dental nursing certification
- knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- familiarity with dental software and computer skills for administrative tasks
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- dental assisting: 2 years
- attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
